Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon–Day 1

I’ve signed up, albeit a little bit late, for the Tackle Your TBR Read-a-thon. I didn’t reach all of my goals in the last read-a-thon so I’m hoping to do better in this one. I like that this read-a-thon is 2 weeks long giving me some weekend reading time to make up for all the time I have to spend working instead of reading (oh how I suffer). If you’d like to join me, you can still sign up here until the 16th!

So – Goals:

I’m hoping to spend at least 3 hours reading per day and read at least 200 pages in that time.

By the end of the read-a-thon I’m hoping to have completed 7 books. That's just 1 book every other day so I should be able to manage that.

The books: These are subject to change with my moods, but as of right now, these are the books I intend to read.

Delia’s Shadow by Jaime Lee Moyer

Gated by Amy Christine Parker (audio)

Between Two Thorns by Emma Newman (audio)

The Boy Who Could See Demons by Carolyn Jess Cooke

Marie Antoinette Serial Killer by Katie Alender

Lowcountry Spirit by Ann Hite (audio)

The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

So wish me luck! I’m looking forward to getting through some of these! (hopefully all of them) And I’m also excited about participating in the challenges for this read-a-thon! Have you joined yet? Are you thinking about it? What are your daily reading goals? Do you have some super secret ninja time management skills that allow you to get all your reading done while still keeping your job and not starving your family? If so, let me know puhhhleeeze!!
