Giveaway–Vamps vs Zombies Hop–Blood of Eden

I am always talking about how much I love Julie Kagawa’s Blood of Eden series so I’m sure you won’t be surprised that the prize I’m offering for this hop is your choice of either The Immortal Rules or The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa. This story not only has vampires, but vampires that are zombies!! (or maybe zombies that are vampires?) So it’s the best of both. I love, love this series Donna and cannot wait for the next book. Did you read the novella it was in an anthology?

No Kim, I sure didn't. I don't think I've ever in my life read a novella. I really should though. I think there is one with the Grisha series too that I should read. I do love this series though! It is definitely one of my favorites.

I just read your comment above. I haven't read the novella either, though I am a huge fan of Kagawa's books. I'm always a little reluctant to pick up novellas myself, unless I can be sure that I'll enjoy them. They never feel like they're worth my time for some reason...

That's how I feel too Sam, they're just so short & I feel like it's just an extra story that doesn't really push the plot forward or go anywhere. I could be wrong though. Also, another thing that keeps me from reading many of the prequels and novellas is, if I start off with a series in audio format, I can't then switch to print format and I don't know if they release these novellas in audio. I tried once reading a sequel in print after listening to the first book as an audio and I didn't enjoy it at all.

I have never heard of this author before, but from what you said and the books themselves, I just found a new author to love! I will definitely but these books on my TBL!
