2014 Audiobook Challenge

This year I’m joining The Book Nympho and Hot Listens’ Audiobook Challenge at the My Precious level which is 30+ audiobooks. My personal goal for 2014 is a total of 101 books read with at least 50 being audiobooks, so this challenge should definitely help keep me motivated to reach my personal reading goal! I’m looking forward to getting started on several audiobooks that I already have. These are some of the ones I plan to start with:

1. The Darkest Minds by Alexandria Bracken

2. Legend by Marie Lu

3. Reign of Blood by Alexia Purdy

4. A Matter of Days by Amber Kizer

5. The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd

Have you read any of these in ebook or audio? Let me know what you thought of them! Will you be participating in this challenge? Which audiobooks are you listening to this year?

That was one of the truly exceptional audio narrations I've listened to this year. Another was These Broken Stars. Audio is my favorite reading format!
Legend and The Darken Minds were two of my favorite books last year. I hope you enjoy them. :)

I got distracted in the middle of Darkest Minds so I'm going to have to put that aside for a little while and retry it later. But I'm excited about Legend! I want to listen to that along w/ my son while he reads it for his Battle of the Books challenge at school.
Good luck for your 2014 book challenge. I personally set my goal at 30 audiobooks. Let´s see if I can do better than that :)

Thanks! And good luck to you as well.
It might be a bit hard to listen to 50 but I really prefer audio format. It definitely takes longer, some of these audio books can be pretty long and you can't skim like you can when reading. Still, I'm hoping I can do it! I've been lucky lately with some truly exceptional audio narrations, it can change the way I feel about a book.
