Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-thon

wonderfullywickedRAT2

I’ve been looking forward to participating in the Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-Thon hosted by those crazy awesome ladies at My Shelf Confessions. I am WICKEDLY behind in what I’m supposed to be reading and reviewing due to the fact that I’ve decided it would be a good idea to work 2 part time jobs instead of 1 in these months leading up to Christmas. This will be great for my bank account, not so much for my free time. So, this week, I really need to schedule some hours to devote to reading.

I’m keeping my goals fairly simple, I’m only challenging myself to read AND review 4 books between now and Oct 20th. Here they are:

PLUS I am challenging myself to participate in all of the challenges, comment on at least 20 of the participating blogs, write at least 4 update posts, AND complete 3 reviews for books I’ve finished but haven’t reviewed yet. So a tall order for my busy schedule, but if it was easy, it wouldn’t be wicked

What are your plans for the read-a-thon? Are you participating in the challenges or just focusing on reading? Have you read any of the books I’m planning to read this week? Be sure to leave a link to your blog in your comment so I can visit you and check out your Read-a-thon plans too!

Good luck with reading AND reviewing, hope you can do it. I want to read at least 6 books and I have to review 3 of them so I'd prefer to do that after I finish them :D

Ha! It's always best to review them AFTER you've read them! My problem is that sometimes I procrastinate writing the review for so long that I almost have to re-read the book in order to remember what I want to say about it! Good luck on your goals too!
Thanks :D I know the feeling, that's why I'm trying so hard :))
Wonderful reading list. I loved Hallowed Ones and Reality Boy is suppose to be awesome. I have Delia's Shadow to read as well.

Thanks Kim! I really like The Hallowed Ones too and I'm looking forward to Reality Boy. Delia's Shadow is proving to be really slow so I've taken a really long break with it, but I'm determined to finish it this week. Good luck on your goals!
I worked 2 jobs for a while, and my reading dropped right off the face of the earth, lol...hopefully you'll make some time! It's a good idea leading up to Christmas, though...

Good luck with your goals!

Yeah, it's kind of a necessity. My kids are getting older and while I'm buying LESS presents, what they want is significantly more expensive, like cell phones and other electronics so I definitely need more money for the holidays. It does limit how much reading/blogging time I have though so I have to plan more effectively.
Reality Boy and Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer both look really good! Good luck with your challenge! Including writing the reviews is smart as well since a lot of readathons it's very easy to get behind on the reviews. :)

I'll be focusing on reading and commenting. I also participated in one challenge. Marie Antoinette looks like a great book, so happy reading and good luck :D!
