Welcome to my stop on the Authors Are Rock Stars blog tour hosted by Fiktshun, Two Chicks on Books, Magical Urban Fantasy Reads. I was thrilled to be a host on this tour because the author I was chosen to feature is Veronica Rossi!!
Veronica Rossi is certainly a Rock Star~ From the moment I first picked up her brilliant debut, Under the Never Sky, I knew this author was going to be a superstar! In her series, Rossi created a fascinating world of futuristic science and technology in an almost primitive environment then added elements of magic and romance. This was a recipe for a fantastic read. Plus, the covers are AMAZING! Check these out!
In addition to being a fabulous author, it seems like Rossi stays pretty busy! She’s written a guest post to let us know just how this rock star has spent her summer!
Guest Post
Well, summer is almost over, so it’s a good time to look back and see where all the time went.1. Horseback riding! - I spent a week in Wyoming in June and rode six hours a day through some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. It was amazing!
2. Running/walking – I try to do an hour a day of either of these, while listening to audiobooks. I’ve “read” some great books this way and it makes the time go so fast!
3. Starting businesses! – Check out www.wildcardstory.com to see where I’ve put a lot of my time this summer.
4. Writing – I’m hard at work on my next series. Can’t say anything more about it yet, but hopefully soon. I will say, though, that I’m EXCITED about it!
5. Hanging at the beach – I spent two weeks in Miami Beach this summer bodysurfing, swimming and generally just loving the ocean.
6. Listening to country music – I love country music in the summer! It makes me want to roll my window down and cruuuise.
7. Watching SONS OF ANARCHY – So, I’m late to this series but, wow am I ever addicted! Jax Teller ftw!
8. Reading – I’ve been mixing research reads, classics and upcoming novels. I always LOVE books, but I’m particularly in love with reading right now
.
9. Attending conferences/cons – I had two big events this summer, San Diego ComicCon (SDCC) and the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators National Conference (SCBWI LA). It was awesome seeing fans and writing friends!
