WOW There were SO many entries! I was amazed by how many people made it all the way down that HUGE list to make it to my giveaway. I tried to get to as many of the giveaways as possible but I had quite a busy week myself. Thank you so much to Inspired Kathy and Rhiannon for hosting this amazing giveaway hop. Thanks also to all of the generous blogs that participated in the giveaways and all of the wonderful followers who took the time to enter!! It was so much fun! I can’t wait til the next one!
As I said this has been a busy week for me as well. My youngest son just turned 10 on Sunday and with his birthday being the day before Halloween we always celebrate with a big Halloween Birthday party extravaganza. This year was especially fun! Check out some of the craziness happening at Happy Bookerville!!
My handsome guys before the party! Don’t he look like his daddy?
The kids slowly started showing up, some with costumes, some without…
I had some surprise treats for them that the boys LOVED! Test tubes filled with red or green goo and gummy eyeballs, snakes, or rats.
The kids had a blast playing the mummy wrap game!! I think we went through about 20 rolls of toilet paper!! lol
They were excited to dive into the prize box! Thanks to the sale at the Dollar General, I had enough prizes for everyone to take home at least 2!!
I was a little surprised by what a big hit the “Decorate Your Own Cookie” Activity was!
Ok, the cake was just cool. It was 24 Cupcakes in a cool Monster design that went well with my attempt at making Monster Toe Cookies (which the kids LOVED! There wasn’t so much as a toenail left!)
The kids were singing and cheering so loud when he blew out his candles that D’s face turned bright red and he had to cover his ears!
Of course, then it was time for presents!! He got everything he wanted plus a few surprises. I think he was most happy with this scooter, his first cell phone, and his laptop.
Finally, it was time to go home! Everyone got to take home a treat bag, but before they left, they all got together in my toilet papered yard to tell D a final Happy Halloween Birthday!!
D had such an amazing birthday! I don’t think that I’ve ever seen him smile and laugh so much. But it may take Mom and Dad a little while to recover from all of the screaming and yelling, not to mention the mess! Still, we can’t wait to do it all again next Halloween!!
What did your family do for Halloween?

Looks like you guys had a last. I'll have to save the cookie decorating idea to memory...sounds fun.
Happy late Birthday D.
Thank you for picking my name out of that magical hat!! I can't wait to read it. I didn't receive an email yet so I sent one to you. Here is mine if there are any issues. Mary_Reiss @ hotmail.com
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Mary
@Jennifer We did have a blast! The cookie decorating thing is something that I will be doing from now on at parties. I have to remember to buy extra icing and sprinkles, what was in the kit wasn't really enough.
@Mary Yay!! Congrats!! I bet you'll love God's Eye and so lucky to be getting a signed copy! I did already email you though, and you emailed me back yesterday and sent your mailing info. lol
Oh my gosh - I can understand why the kids devoured the cupcakes and the monster toe cookies - freaking awesome!!!
