This weeks questions are:
Who are your favorite authors? I have to start with JK Rowling because the Harry Potter series just has a special place in my heart. I also love Marion Zimmer Bradley's Mists of Avalon. Some of my other favorites include Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Anne Bishop, R.A. Salvatore, and most recently Stacia Kane.
What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog? I haven't really been blogging long enough to have lost followers. I think if I started to lose them, I would have to examine the direction my blog was taking and why they were leaving. If my own tastes were changing and I was talking more about books in a different genre, I guess I would understand if people who were following specifically for fantasy related posts, then it would be understandable.
I have not yet stopped following any blog. I would be afraid that I'd miss a great giveaway or an interesting book review that would lead me to discovering a new author/series to love. I discover so many books through the reviews I read, even in genres that I thought wouldn't interest me. I don't visit every blog I follow as much as I'd like, but I do scroll through all the recent posts several times a day while I'm "working" and check out the ones that look interesting. I need to start commenting more, I just feel like I should have something more interesting to say other than WOW! Great review! So there are times I simply don't comment at all, even though I would be perfectly happy to receive that same comment on one of my own reviews. Hmm... something for me to consider.
